Here are some prolific Indie Hackers who can show you the way

  • Courtland Allen
  • Mubashar Iqbal
  • Pieter Levels
  • Rob Walling

Courtland Allen

@CSAllen is the founder of IndieHackers.com, the go-to forum for enthusiasts in the indie hacker & micro-SaaS space. I'm not quite sure how prolific he is in product development, but he has done a lot to accelerate his and his employer's (Stripe) mission to increase the GDP of the internet, and is a catalyst for growing the movement with his great podcasts where he interviews engaging and successful indie hackers.

A couple of interesting listen where Courtland is being interviewed instead of the other way around:

Mubashar Iqbal

Mubashar Iqbal is one of the most prolific Indie Hackers out there. By his own count, he now has more than 100 side projects under his belt, on display on this website he also created, and that is besides doing a full-time job. I believe he does have some cheat codes, as I recall hearing somewhere that he only needs 5-6 hours of sleep per night.

Make sure to listen to one of the early Indie Hackers podcasts discussing how he got to be the most prolific Indie Hacker.

Pieter Levels

As a digital nomad, Pieter was an early evangelist for remote-working, which his projects illustrate.

On his tech stack: RemoteOK just being one giant PHP file, Nomadlist as a directory of favorable nomad cities also sports a simple, yet differentiated design.

Some cool posts from his blog:

He was also recently on the IndieHacker podcast again, this is part 2 of that conversation.

Rob Walling

Rob Walling has been a serial entrepreneur in the micro-SaaS space since before 2010. He co-founded MicroConf, a recurring event that invites speakers to talk about the stuff happening in the micro-SaaS space.

He is also co-founder of TinySeed, a venture capital company solely focusing on small companies with small teams trying to do big things, or as they call it: 'The Startup Accelerator for Bootstrappers'.
